The Baltimore Light Rail stops at Stadium/Federal Hill station next to the Camden Yards complex, and the Maryland Transit Administration also runs local buses. On game days the Ravens Ride service operates charter buses from park-and-ride points around the region, with single-game fares of $35 to $40 per person. Because every stadium lot is permit-only, riding in is often the least stressful option.
Stadium lots open 4.5 hours before kickoff and, for Ravens games, are sold out to permit holders in advance. Fans without a permit are pointed to ParkMobile and to privately run downtown garages and lots. Accessible parking in Lots B, C and R (under the Russell Street bridge) is first come, first served and needs a state placard.
Tailgating is allowed in the permit lots, but the party has to wrap up 30 minutes after the event starts, and portable toilets and drones are banned. For a no-cooking alternative, RavensWalk sits on the walkway between Lots B and C, opens four hours before kickoff and closes an hour before, with bars, food trucks and a DJ. The Horseshoe Casino garage used by PSL owners does not allow tailgating.
A three-year, $489 million renovation finished in 2026 added field-level premium spaces such as The Trust (Section 127, Ravens sideline) and The Raven (Section 152, visitors sideline), plus a rooftop social deck called The Landing in the northeast plaza. Seats are 19 to 21 inches wide depending on where the bowl curves.
M&T Bank Stadium became the first existing outdoor pro sports facility in the US to earn LEED Gold certification, in November 2013.
Fans traditionally rub the foot of the bronze Johnny Unitas statue in Unitas Plaza as they walk in; a Ray Lewis statue striking his squirrel-dance pose joined it in 2014.
The site was once the Wm. Knabe & Co. piano factory, and a keyboard mosaic in the sidewalk at the southwest corner honors that history.
Baltimore averages a high near 68 F and low near 47 F in October, 57/37 in November, 48/30 in December and 43/25 in January (1991-2020 normals). Snow is rare before December, so expect mild early-season games and a real chill by the playoffs.
