Getting there

20 minby car from Charlotte Douglas (CLT)

The LYNX Blue Line is the rail option: Brooklyn Village and Carson stations are each roughly 0.7 miles (about an 18-minute walk) from the gates. For Sunday home games the Panthers and CATS are piloting a Game Day Express bus from northern suburban stops, dropping off on Brevard Street between 3rd Street and Brooklyn Village Avenue, a few blocks away. Rideshare drop-off and pickup was set at Third and Church streets for the January 2026 playoff game.

Parking

The stadium does not run one big lot; parking operators lease surface lots and garages around Uptown, and the team says more than 30,000 spaces sit within about a 15-minute walk. Reserving ahead through an app such as SpotHero guarantees a space. Several streets near the stadium, including South Graham and parts of South Mint, close on game days. There is no dedicated bike or scooter parking beyond racks at Romare Bearden Park.

Tailgating

Pregame life is spread across Uptown rather than one lot. Fan groups such as Roaring Riot host organized tailgates, and the team runs the free Panthers Play Yard in South Lawn Village on Mint Street starting two hours before kickoff, plus Legends Row on Graham Street. Rules differ by lot operator, so confirm tailgating is allowed in your lot before you set up.

Where to sit

Sideline seats are set back 53 feet from the field in the first row, and end-zone seats begin 20 feet behind the end zone, with the bowl designed so every seat is raised for sightlines. The club level along both sidelines is enclosed and climate controlled, a good pick for hot early-season games or cold January ones.

Good to know

  1. 01

Six bronze panther sculptures titled "Indomitable Spirit" guard the three main entrances; they were installed in 1996.

  2. 02

It was among the first large stadium projects in the US funded mainly through personal seat licenses, a model that persuaded NFL owners to award the Carolinas an expansion team.

  3. 03

The Panthers played their first season at Clemson's Memorial Stadium while this venue was being built; it opened in August 1996 as Ericsson Stadium.

Weather

Early-season games are hot and humid, with Charlotte's summer heat lingering into September. By January the average daily high is only about 52 F, and showers can disrupt game days.
