Getting there

25 minby car from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood (FLL); also MIA 35 min

There is no Metrorail station at the stadium. The easiest rail-linked option in 2026 is Brightline's free End Zone Express shuttle from Aventura station (about 6 miles away) for Dolphins home games, dropping off near the Gate 3 pedestrian bridge at NW 199th Street. Tri-Rail riders can get off at Golden Glades and transfer to a stadium shuttle.

Parking

On-site parking is prepaid only and has been selling out, so most fans without a pass use the Park & Ride shuttle for $10 per vehicle from Lot 70 (across from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Fort Lauderdale) or Lot 95 (Golden Glades garage in Miami). Parking gates open four hours before kickoff and stadium gates two hours before. Shuttles run until roughly 75 minutes after the game, and the stadium no longer takes cash at parking gates.

Tailgating

Tailgating is part of the Dolphins routine, with rules set by the stadium: one parking space per vehicle, tailgate in the 8-by-10-foot area marked behind your car, gas or charcoal grills only (no open fires), no kegs and no professional DJ setups. Directed parking can be in force from the time lots open, so follow staff instructions. Cash is not accepted, so bring a card.

Where to sit

The canopy over the main seating areas shades the Dolphins sideline, while the visitors' side sits in full sun, so home-side seats are the cooler choice at hot early-season games.

Good to know

  1. 01

The stadium has hosted six Super Bowls (XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI, XLIV and LIV).

  2. 02

Since 2022 the stadium grounds have hosted the Miami International Autodrome, a temporary circuit for Formula One's Miami Grand Prix.

  3. 03

A privately funded $350 million renovation that began in 2015 added corner video boards, extra suites and an open-air canopy over the main seating areas.

Weather

Expect heat and humidity at September and October games, with a real chance of afternoon thunderstorms; the canopy helps with rain and shade but not with the humidity.
