Getting there

30 minby car from Buffalo Niagara (BUF)

There is no rail link, so the main public option is the NFTA Game Day Express bus, a $5 one-way express that runs from Eastern Hills Mall, the Metropolitan Transportation Center downtown, Niagara Falls Transportation Center, Thruway Plaza, University Station and Utica Rail Station. Buses load and unload at the stadium Transit Center near Abbott Road and Southwestern Boulevard. Service is limited and fills up, so be at the stop 10 to 15 minutes before departure; first return buses leave about 30 minutes after the final whistle.

Parking

Every Bills lot needs a pass bought in advance; day-of purchases exist only for the first-come accessible lots. Lots open four hours before kickoff and close two hours after the game, and Abbott Road shuts to cars six hours before kickoff, so approach by the road named for your lot color. A pass is good only for the lot printed on it, and the RV lot is entered off Southwestern Boulevard the day before the game.

Tailgating

Tailgating is allowed in the parking lots until kickoff, within a 9 ft by 10 ft area behind your stall. Gas and propane grills are fine, and charcoal grills must sit at least six inches off the ground; tent stakes, glass, oil fryers and wood stoves are banned. Inside the secure perimeter, the Pregame Plaza between Gates C and D (closes 30 minutes before kickoff) and food markets such as Chiavetta's BBQ and Southern Junction keep the party going without a car.

Where to sit

The bowl is steep and stacked, built to pull fans close to the field, and a 360-degree canopy covers more than 60 percent of the seats, so rain and snow are less of a factor than in the old stadium. The 300-level concourses are open, with views of the field from many spots. The field itself is uncovered, so expect the wind and cold to reach you whichever level you pick.
