Getting there
15 minby car from Austin Straubel (GRB)
For the 2026 season the Packers and Green Bay Metro run four free gameday bus routes to Lambeau for home games. Service starts five hours before kickoff and runs for about three hours after the game, with buses leaving the stadium every 30 minutes. A fee-based Lamers service also runs from other parts of the Green Bay area, other Wisconsin cities and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Parking
Every space in the lots around the stadium is sold to season parking pass holders. Individual-game options are limited: nearby lots managed by PMI can be reserved per game, a small number of Lot 15 passes in Titletown are sold in advance as mobile passes, and many nearby homeowners sell cash parking at their own prices. Free parking is available on many residential streets within walking distance.
Tailgating
In Lambeau-operated lots, your setup must fit in the 9 x 6 foot area directly behind your vehicle. Charcoal and propane grills are allowed with an adult watching them, but wood fires and turkey fryers are not. Tailgating ends at kickoff in stadium-controlled lots, and it is not allowed in Lot 15.
Where to sit
Lambeau's seating bowl keeps the traditional layout, including bench-style bleachers, so the Packers say every person needs a ticket regardless of age. Seat sizes and sightlines are tighter than in newer stadiums.
What to eat
- Horse Collar kielbasa sandwich
- Bratwurst grilled cheese sandwich
- Fried pickles
Good to know
- 01
Lambeau Field is the oldest continually operating stadium in the NFL.
- 02
Its 'Frozen Tundra' nickname traces to the 1967 Ice Bowl against Dallas, played at -15 degrees Fahrenheit with sharp winds.
- 03
Packers president Mark Murphy said in 2015 that the team will never sell the stadium's naming rights, though the eight entrance gates carry sponsor names.
Weather
Green Bay's January mean temperature is about 16.6 F, and the stadium's nickname comes from a game played at -15 F. Early-season September games are usually mild, but plan for real cold from November on.
