Getting there

15 minby car from Los Angeles (LAX); also LGB 35 min, BUR 45 min

For Chargers games, rail riders take the Metro C or K Line to LAX/Metro Transit Center and board the free SoFi Stadium Express shuttle at Bus Bay 8. Return service starts at the beginning of the fourth quarter and runs for 90 minutes after the game. Regular Metro bus lines 115, 117 and 212 also serve stops near the stadium, and Inglewood runs a Park & Go option.

Parking

Lots open four hours before kickoff and every vehicle needs a valid mobile parking pass, with no overnight parking or moving between zones. The stadium urges buying parking in advance because on-site prices rise on the day of the event. Uber, Lyft, taxis and shuttles drop off on the north curb lane of Kareem Court, reached via westbound Pincay Drive.

Tailgating

Tailgating at Chargers games is limited to a small number of spots in the Hyundai Pink Zone, and the restriction is strictly enforced elsewhere. Each space is a 9 ft by 18 ft stall plus a 9 ft by 6 ft tailgating area behind the vehicle, gas and propane grills are allowed but charcoal is not, and everything must stop at kickoff. Do not queue at The Market Place next door, which is private property and tows violators.

    A million-square-foot canopy of 302 translucent ETFE panels covers the bowl, the plaza and the attached YouTube Theater, and 46 of the panels can open for ventilation.

    The suspended Infinity Screen is a double-sided 4K video board with about 80 million pixels and weighs roughly 2.2 million pounds.

    SoFi is one of two NFL stadiums shared by two teams, and it hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022.
