Most fans drive or use rideshare. The designated rideshare location this season is Lot 15, off Randol Mill Road and Web Street, and taxis are staged at the west end of the Miller LiteHouse off North Collins Street and Cowboys Way for drop-off before the game and pick-up after. Passenger drop-off zones are in Lot 1 (north side of Randol Mill Road) and Lot 6 (south side, off Cowboys Way), though post-game traffic can make them hard to use for pick-up.
About 12,000 spaces sit in 15 numbered lots at the stadium, with nearly 12,000 more in lettered lots around the Texas Rangers ballpark that can be used on event days. Lots generally open five hours before Cowboys kickoff, each pass is valid only for its designated lot, and buying ahead is recommended. Free accessibility shuttle carts run from the lots to the stadium. Arriving from Dallas, use Ballpark Way off I-30; from Fort Worth, use Collins Street.
Tailgating is limited to marked spaces on the grassy perimeter of the lots, with a maximum footprint of 9 feet wide by 12 feet deep behind your vehicle. Designated spaces are in Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 and fill first come, first served, so arrive early; Lots 3, 8 and 9 and part of Lot 5 do not allow it. Charcoal or gas cooking is allowed, but open-flame fires, deep fryers and amplified sound are banned. Tailgating runs from lot opening until two hours after the game.
Under the retractable roof there is little weather to worry about, and the end zones have glass doors that can be opened. A huge video board hangs at center over the field. Party Pass standing-room platforms behind each end zone offer cheaper entry.
A regular-season NFL attendance record of 105,121 was set here on September 20, 2009, when the Cowboys hosted the Giants.
A pair of arches nearly 300 feet tall span the length of the stadium roof.
AT&T took over the naming rights on July 25, 2013, replacing the original name Cowboys Stadium.
