The free Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar links downtown, Over-the-Rhine and The Banks with 18 stops and runs roughly every 12 to 15 minutes, which makes it handy for hopping between garages, bars and the stadium. Metro buses ($2.20 each way) run from around Hamilton County, and TANK's Southbank Shuttle ($1) connects Covington and Newport on game days. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is on 2nd Street between Vine and Walnut.
Many lots and garages next to the stadium require a Bengals parking pass; garages open six hours before kickoff and surface lots four hours before. Because the Brent Spence Bridge companion-bridge project is under way, Lot 1 and Lot A have reduced capacity for the 2026 season, and the county is working to add the Longworth Hall lot. Unreserved parking is easiest through SpotHero or the downtown garages a few blocks away.
Tailgating is allowed in all Bengals parking areas around the stadium, but open flames are banned inside garage structures. Surface lots (1U, A, B, D, E, Hilltop, Hilltop North and Longworth Hall) open four hours before kickoff. All Bengals parking closes two hours after the event, and for night games tailgating must end by midnight.
Phase One of a multi-year renovation was finished for 2026, with remodeled club lounges, redesigned suites, new escalators and stairs at club and suite entrances, and over 1,000 new wayfinding signs. More changes are planned from 2027, including replacing the seats and installing a larger video board.
The first game was a 24-20 preseason win over the Bears on August 19, 2000.
In a 2007 Harris Interactive poll of America's favorite buildings, it was the only football stadium to make the top 150, ranking 101st.
A new lease signed in 2025 keeps the Bengals in the stadium through June 2036, paired with a $470 million renovation.
Cincinnati averages a high near 67 F and low near 46 F in October, 54/35 in November, 43/28 in December and 40/23 in January (1991-2020 normals). Snow is modest (under an inch in November, about 4 inches in December), so rain and cold snaps matter more than blizzards.
