Getting there

15 minby car from Tampa (TPA); also PIE 25 min

Rail does not reach the stadium, so most fans drive or use rideshare. Uber and Lyft drop-off and pickup both happen only at George M. Steinbrenner Field across Dale Mabry Highway, with a pedestrian bridge linking it to the stadium grounds; the rideshare entrance is off Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Local HART buses serve the area.

Parking

Lots open 3.5 hours before kickoff and take credit or debit cards only for day-of parking, with no cash accepted. Buying a single-game pass early is recommended because spaces are limited, and Krewe members get 30% off season parking. RVs, campers over 24 feet and buses use Lot 14 for Bucs games, and overnight parking is not allowed.

Tailgating

Tailgating is permitted in the stadium lots but must stop at kickoff. Keep your setup directly behind your own vehicle within a single 10-by-24-foot space, do not save spots, and keep drive lanes clear for emergency vehicles. Loud amplified sound and blocking walkways with tents, trailers or coolers are not allowed.

Where to sit

The seating bowl is open to the sky and shade is reported to be limited, so bring sun protection for early-season afternoon games.

    A 103-foot, 43-ton replica pirate ship sits in the north end zone, and its cannons fire once for each point the Buccaneers score.

    The stadium hosted Super Bowls XXXV (2001), XLIII (2009) and LV (2021).

    In Super Bowl LV the Buccaneers became the first team in NFL history to both play and win a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Weather

Tampa has hot, humid summers with frequent thunderstorms, so September and early October games are steamy and storm delays are possible; later in the season conditions turn drier and milder.
